Entries in bold are widely used and well-known on LUGNET. Italicized entries are not very common.

If you’re looking for an acronym mentioned on lugnet and can’t find it here, try this:
  • Reading a bit of the context - often a spur-of-the-moment acronym will be mentioned in full version a few sentences earlier. (Also, often the acronym is shorthand for writing a set name over and over.)
  • Does your link end with “LUG” or “LTC”? See the LUGMAP.
  • Look in other, non-lego related acronym databases.
  • Ask in lugnet.faq, or as a reply to the post that introduced the acronym... you’ll find very helpful people 99.9% of the time!
Many thanks and credit to Derek Schin who let me use and change his RTL acronym FAQ. He stopped updating his at some point; that’s what I’m here for. Also thanks to everyone who has submitted acronyms!

So if you see an acronym that you think is widespread enough on lugnet that it should appear here - drop me a line! <shirid@hotmail.com>

Enjoy, and HTH (Hope This Helps)!
